The CTX Bioreactor is a fixed film submerged aerated biological filter (SBAF). This technology is proven for high rate oxidation of organic loads and is particularly useful for industrial wastes as well as domestic sewage treatment.

The treatment plants can be fully pre-fabricated and ISO Containerised or the key components can be installed within insitu concrete tanks.

The benefits over conventional processes are:

• Bacteria are fixed within the bioreactor thus avoiding sludge bulking and settlement problems.
• High bacteria concentrations and low retention capability.
• Low sludge production with good settlement characteristics
