Stetpak with dissolved air floatation (DAF) second stage treatment.

Equipment was installed by Perkins Engines for the removal of free oils and emulsified cuttings oils from the spent machining coolant.

The free oils are removed in the Stetpak and the emulsified oils are removed in the DAF unit.

The final effluent is designed to be sufficiently low to achieve a substantial reduction in discharge costs.

Estimated payback period of 18 months.
